Crisis Services


Shelter offers crisis counseling,  programs & services and vital aid to women and their children leaving an abusive environment.

How does TLC House help Survivors of Domestic violence? 

1. We will provide a "safe house" for YOU --A group housing shelter for battered persons, women and their kids. 

2. Our staff will endeavor to empower you, as survivor of domestic violence with the ability to make significant choices and to solve problems related to your current life in efforts to end domestic violence.

3. TLC will help you make the transition from an abusive environment to one of a safer, self-sufficient life, free of abuse and violence.

Together, TLC House Indiana and you can end the generational cycle of

domestic violence, date rape, stalking, and sexual assault.

Mada Waldrop is the Executive Director for TLC House Indiana. Mada has a strong background in managing transitional housing and helping women recover from alcohol/drug abuse. We are truly thankful for her efforts and dedication at TLC House Indiana!

TLC  received an outpouring of love from Angola's Bowen Center, pictured Alicia Johnson, Director and Sareina Sechler, DCS Service Manager. Donations included household items, children's games, books, and more!
